Sarah Marks is a west country artist who is currently living in Bristol with her three lovely daughters.

Sarah is a realist artist who uses a wide variety of mediums, but predominately oils on stretched canvas, appreciating the glowing intensity of the colours.

She is inspired by both the natural beauty and the architecture of the West Country. Sarah travels regularly, exploring the varying scenery from Clevedon to St. Ives, Lands End and back around to Dorset, in her campervan, discovering the delights that are on our doorstep but unfortunately often overlooked.

Sarah has loved art all her life and does not remember a time when she wasn't drawing.

After several successful exhibitions, Sarah made the decision to become a self employed artist in January 2010, with help from a scheme ran through the job centre.
